Swamp Gumbo

Friday, July 26, 2013 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Coming soon to Arts on the Lake

Outdoor concert on the north lawn at the Arts Center

Swingin' cajun rock led by Kati Mac, Tim Ouimette, Jon Cobert, Steve Count, Denny McDermott and Sherryl Marshall and with Special Guests Sandy Farina and The Bon Temp Horns (Mark Fineberg, Rick Kriska, and Frank Perowsky).

A gumbo mixture of cajun classics from Prof. Longhair, Allen Toussaint, Dr John, The Neville Brothers and Delany & Bonnie, this band has a swampy rhythm that brings out the soul in all.

The pay-what-you-wish (but please pay something) policy is made possible by Platinum Sponsors Putnam Hospital Center and Friends of Kent Library, Gold Sponsors Radovich & Dean Music, Kent Wine & Liquors, Macaroni Kid and Joan Iacono Law, Silver Sponsors Cassidy Plumbing and Heating, Chris' Automotive Center and Little Motors and the Arts Link Program of the Putnam Arts Council.

In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Center.

If you would like to donate ($10) in advance, click Buy Tickets above. Your name will then be on an assured-admission list at the gate.

Vendor food (Johnny's Fire Dogs, ice cream sandwiches) and drinks will be available from 6:30. Front Street Cafe will have a gourmet wrap waiting for you at the concert, if you place a sandwich order with us by 12 noon on the day of the concert.

Other sponsorship opportunities are available to recognize major supporters of the Summer Concert Series; click here for complete sponsorship information.
