Alan Bomser, counsel to AotL, dies.

Alan Bomser, counsel to AotL from the outset, died Thursday, April 11. He and his wife Betsy Gould kept a house on Sagamore Lake until recently. Taking up the trumpet again after lessons with Tim Ouimette, Alan and Betsy were an enlivening presence at our membership gatherings, our art openings and our musical and theatrical performances. There will be a celebration of Alan's life, June 11, 6 pm, St. Peter's Church, 619 Lexington Ave., NYC.

Our Putnam Partner, SPACE on Ryder Farm, has launched a CSA.

As an early adopter of organic farming, Ryder Farm in Brewster is now part of the growing Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) movement.

Purchasing a share of the farmer's harvest at the beginning of the season enables the member to receive fresh produce throughout the season. Unique to SPACE, members will also receive locally-grown arts created by members of SPACE's artist residency programs.
