Arts on the Lake has an active community of visual artists who exhibit, sketch, teach, learn, collaborate and encourage artistic creation. We invite you to explore the opportunities to participate in the visual arts at Arts on the Lake.
- Visual Artists Committee (VAC), one of the first cooperative groups formed at Arts on the Lake, presents exhibits and studio tours. More about Visual Artists Committee »
- Classes for beginning to experienced artists. As an exercise, Life Drawing is offered each semester for students and artists of any ability who wish to work without instruction to improve sketching skills using a live model. In Intensive Painting artists can develop technique and artistic vision in a collegial setting. Art programs also are offered for children. More about Classes Schedule»
- The Photo Group within Arts on the Lake meets monthly to discuss work and concerns to photographers in the area. More about Photo Group »
- Art exhibits are mounted by the Visual Artists Committee, Reflectionist and the Photo Group. These groups also partner with Friends of the Library to present monthly shows at the Kent Public Library.
The next exhibit at Arts on the Lake is Fall Art Exhibit.

Arts on the Lake strives to be a place where creative activity can be developed, performed, displayed and presented in a way that serves the creator well and strengthens the community in the process.
