ARTIST RELIEF: Grants for Artists

ARTIST RELIEF is providing grants to artists during the COVID-19 crisis. This coalition of national arts grantmakers have come together to create an emergency initiative to offer financial and informational resources to artists across the United States.

Information: https://www.artistrelief.org/

All activities are on hold

In light of the current state of emergency, all activities are being postponed at Arts on the Lake as March 17. Because we are a hub for so many events, classes and groups we would like to stay in touch with all of our members and supporters during this crisis. If you are in need of help, food or anything please let us know via email or phone and we will try to assist you or get you in touch with someone who can. In this time of isolation it is important for all of us to stay in contact with neighbors and friends. Stay safe and practice social distancing for the good of all.

A Sad Announcement

It is with great sadness, that we learned of the recent passing of Don Longabucco. Don and Rita have been mainstays of Arts on the Lake since its beginning. Don was a wonderful artist whose collages are in the collections of many throughout our community. His humor, gentle manner and wry smile will be sorely missed. If you would like make donations in memory of Don, Rita asks that you do so either to St. Jude's Hospital or Arts on the Lake. Rita will be letting us know when a gathering to remember Don will be scheduled.

The Kent Library will be exhibiting his  wonderful art work during the month of January.
