Acting Workshop - Auditioning

These acting workshops being offered by actor and voice over artist, Cie Peterson explore four different aspects of acting. Sample one or two or try all four. Enrich your summer Sundays and learn about auditioning, improvisation, developing characters or stage combat. There is a suggested donation of $5 dollars for members and $8 for general admission.

Week 1 – Auditioning – Demystify the auditioning process so you can let go of nerves and doubt.

Week 2 – Improv – A fun class designed to teach actors and non-actors alike how to work intuitively and be flexible, spontaneous, and responsive.

Week 3 – Developing Character – Discover the various choices an actor can make with look, voice, and movement to create distinct characters.

Week 4 – Movement and Stage Combat – Well-trained actors spend years on movement training; we will cover as many areas as possible, including status indicators and unarmed stage combat.
