Pay Dirt New Scenes

New scenes for Pay Dirt, the Putnam Theatre Alliance's commissioned new play, will be previewed at the Putnam Arts Council.
The fight for land in the Hudson Valley is as old as the land itself. Arts on the Lake, Tompkins Corners Cultural Center and the Philipstown Depot Theatre have banded together to tell this story from three perspectives using authentically diverse writers and cast.
To reach new audiences - the Alliance is county-wide - this preview - the completed play is slated for March 2024 - will include the writers, the producers and most of the cast. With the excitement of hearing new scenes, it will also be part backer's audition with facts and figures detailing how the production will be realized at the three Putnam Alliance theatres.
Open to all via donation. We are encouraging attendees to reserve in advance with a $5 student "donation" using the "Buy Tickets" button above. Those who wish to donate at a higher level may do so.
