Hurricane Relief Fundraiser for Pets

Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3:00 pm

Coming soon to Arts on the Lake

A Benefit Concert

This event is a benefit concert for animal shelters dealing with the overwhelming number of lost and abandoned pets displaced by the recent hurricanes. Proceeds will benefit to specific shelters, Pets Alive, Rising Dove Rescue and NY Pet Rescue.

These organizations are generously helping get new homes for pets that were victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Iris.

Concert Event will include a Silent Auction, and a 50-50 Raffle.

Kati Mac will be playing songs from her CD entitled Dog Vacation which is a new release "with some zany tracks to go with my rather silly songs for dogs and cats and the people who ADORE them!" Playing with her will be Jon Cobert, Tim Ouimette and Buddy Griffith.

Light refreshments will be offered.

Tickets are $25 dollars and can be purchased in advance or at the door.

Rising Dove Rescue is a small, national, charitable organization founded in 2010 with partners located in Texas and New York. Our organization works to help at risk animals across the United States. Recently, in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, we mobilized volunteers and spent several days assisting shelters and rescue organizations relocate animals to safe ground, and assisted one veterinary office in returning to partial operations after having been overcome by flooding.

Pets Alive is a no-kill animal rescue, located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, about 1 1/2 hours from New York City. Our mission is to improve the lives of companion animals everywhere by any means possible, including rescue, adoption, advocacy, collaboration, intervention and education.

NY Pet Rescue's mission is to aid homeless, abandoned and neglected cats and dogs, to nurture them in the foster care of volunteers, to provide veterinary care and socialization, and to place them in permanent loving and responsible homes. Pet Rescue also works to decrease the population of homeless dogs and cats through its spay/neuter programs.
