Press release: Screenwriter Clings to Iceberg at Arts on the Lake

Emmy Award winning screenwriter and playwright Ron Hutchinson will preview a new work, “Clinging to the Iceberg,” at Arts on the Lake on Friday and Saturday, March 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. “Clinging to the Iceberg” is Hutchinson’s story of how he got from County Antrim, Ireland, to become the writer for Ben Kingsley, Samuel L. Jackson, Marlon Brando, Robin Williams, Brian Dennehy and Halle Berry. Read full press release.

Soul Painting Workshop Postponed

Basketball Player Extraordinaire - Board Member Marty Collins!

Board Member Marty Collins, has taken on the mantel of "Basketball Player Extraordinaire" for the upcoming 2017 Rotary Charity Fundraiser Shootout.

Each participant gets 2 minutes to make as many lay-ups as possible, and the amount raised depends on the pledges per basket!

Rob Morsberger tribute film to premiere at Jacob Burns Film Center

A Gesture and a Word, Dave Davidson’s film about Rob Morsberger will premiere at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville on Thursday, February 16, at 7:30 pm. Morsberger was a frequent Singer/Songwriter performer at Arts on the Lake before his passing in 2013.

Twelve Bandits Coming Tomorrow

The Bandits led by tenor saxophonist Joey Berkley are playing today, Sunday Nov. 20, at 1 PM. The band features a 5-member horn section along with a full rhythm section and a vocalist.
