Too Blue
Friday, July 5, 2013 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Outdoor concert on the north lawn at the Arts Center
The genre-defying band TOO BLUE will leave you feeling anything but blue, says Bill Conger of Bluegrass Unlimited. Betsy Rome (guitar and vocals), Joan Harrison (banjo and vocals), Michael Sassano (mandolin) and Jamie Doris (bass) deliver lush vocals, catchy finger-pickin' and jazzier tunes in a bluegrass setting.
This concert is pay-what-you-wish, but if you would like to donate ($10) in advance, click Buy Tickets above. Your name will then be on an assured-admission list at the gate.
These concerts receive support from the Putnam Hospital Center, the Friends of Kent Library, Radovich & Dean Music, Kent Wine and Liquors, Macaroni Kid and Joan Iacono Law.
In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Center.
If you'd like to become a Friend of Summer Concert Series with a $35 contribution, not only will you support this music program but also you receive assured indoor admission in the event of rain and, if your contribution is received by July 4, your name listed in the program.
Vendor food (Johnny's Fire Dogs, ice cream sandwiches) and drinks will be available from 6:30. Front Street Cafe will have a gourmet wrap waiting for you at the concert, if you place a sandwich order with us by 12 noon on the day of the concert.
