How to Make Up Short Plays Quickly
Sunday, June 10, 2012 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Community Workshop
Using interesting props, characters within the workshop and our inherent sense of storytelling, the group will improvise, develop and maybe write down several short plays -- some with words, some without. These will be for the enjoyment of the group and/or a possible future Open Mouth.
Participants should wear comfortable clothes and arrive with an object or two (i.e. props).
Open to all levels of experience from much to none.
The Workshop will be led by James Shearwood, Artistic Director of Arts on the Lake.
Public admission is $5. There is no charge for students or members of Arts on the Lake.
Those who plan to attend should email rsvp@artsonthelake.org, call 845 228-2685 or click "Buy Tickets" above.
This Workshop is made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Cuomo and the NY State Legislature and with public funds from Putnam County. These grant programs are managed and monitored by the Putnam Arts Council.
