DaVinci’s studies explained
Workshop leader: Alexander Bocchialini Shundi
As humans, we can recognize thousands of faces. Yet, for centuries, artists such as Leonardo DaVinci understood and codified the fundamental proportions of the human face. Come to this workshop and practice the most important aspects of drawing a portrait as passed down by Vitruvius, DaVinci, Dürer and other master artists.
All levels of experience are welcome - elementary school students to seniors. Bring something to sketch on and something to sketch with. Workshop will last about 2 hours.
Public admission is $5. There is no charge for students or members of Arts on the Lake. Because space is limited, those who plan to attend should make a reservation by emailing rsvp@artsonthelake.org or calling 845 228-2685.
This Workshop is made possible, in part, by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Cuomo and the NY State Legislature and with public funds from Putnam County. These grant programs are managed and monitored by the Putnam Arts Council.
