Open Stage 2026 - Putnam County Dance Project
Sunday, March 22, at 2:30 pm
Audiences often find dance choreography difficult to understand. The “Open Stage” performances provide a wonderful opportunity to delve into the minds and hearts of dancers as they present new dance works and sketches, rough draft ideas and works-in-progress.
The event includes a casual talk-back which invites the audience to stay, enjoy a beverage and talk with the choreographers. The performances are held indoors in our intimate upstairs gallery.
This series gives new and professional choreographers a chance to experiment, share and get feedback while viewers get a chance to observe and talk about new work being built.
Hosted by the Putnam County Dance Project this is the first of this year's choreographic development series.
Choreographers will return to share developments and changes at the next Open Stage event on July 12th and again during the Putnam Falls for Dance weekend in September.
Admission is free, however we encourage all attendees to donate as they can so we can continue these programs.
