Day of the Dead Celebration!

Join us in celebrating Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), inspired by the beloved children’s movie “Coco.” This Free event is a wonderful opportunity for families to honor and remember loved ones with a community ofrenda*, crafts and a live dance performance.

Participants are encouraged to bring a photo or memento of an ancestor or pet they would like to commemorate.

* -An ofrenda is a traditional home altar, especially for the Mexican holiday Día de los Muertos, that honors deceased loved ones by welcoming their spirits. Families build these altars with personal items, photographs, and favorite foods and drinks, alongside symbolic items like marigolds, candles, pan de muerto, and papel picado to guide and celebrate the visiting souls.
