A Celebration of Heritage
The Fourth Annual Celebration of Black History, produced by Black Heritage Events of Putnam County, will be held on Saturday, Feb 15, at Arts on the Lake, at 2 PM. (Snow date is Feb 16.)
Celebrating the rich history and culture of the Black community, this fun event brings together a variety of musicians, dancers, and speakers. Activities include Soul Train Line dancing, Black History Jeopardy, raffles and videos. A full day education and entertainment is guaranteed.
All are welcome as our community comes together to honor and commemorate the contributions of Black Americans throughout history. Various distinguished guests may include a number of politicians from our area.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect, and celebrate with your community. Mark your calendars and invite your friends and family and join in celebrating the African American roots, culture and impact on our American society.
