2024 AotL Spring Art Exhibition

This is the annual Spring Show open to all

The Visual Arts Committee (VAC) of Arts on the Lake is hosting the 2024 Spring Art Exhibition to celebrate new works by local artists. The exhibition encourages artists of all styles and expertise to participate and is open to artists 18 years and older.

This year the Exhibition runs from May 25th - June 2nd with the opening reception on May 25th from 12 - 4 PM. The galley will be open, May 25,26,27, and June 1, 2.  October 1, October 7, 8 and 9 from 12-4 and during the week by request. (Email office@artsonthelake.org for arrangements.)

The opening reception for the exhibition provides a unique opportunity to meet the many artists and to enjoy conversation with fellow admirers. There is no charge to attend the exhibition. There will be music and food at the reception.

The exhibit encourages artists of all styles and expertise to participate. Please see the information below about how to submit works.

• Any artist who wishes to exhibit should email Roy at royvolpe@gmail.com and let him know what you would like to submit.

• There is a hanging fee of $35 dollars and a membership to AotL is required to enter the show. These help the organization continue to hold these exhibitions.

• If you are not yet a member or your membership has lapsed, please update your membership. You may use this link to do this on-line, or you may may include the membership with the payment of the hanging fee of $35. Checks can be mailed to Roy Volpe, 195 Ressique Road, Stormville, NY 12582.

• Drop off of works will be on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 6 to 8 pm. Since we hang the show on Thursday, no work will be accepted after this drop-off date and time. Earlier drop-offs can be scheduled with the office.

• Please have all work properly wired for hanging.

• We request that submitted work either be new, since our last show or work that has not been shown for a couple of years. We will not hang work that was shown at our last show.

• Pick-up of work on the day of the closing, Sunday, June 2, will take place from 4 to 5:30. We cannot be responsible for work that is not picked up that has to be stored in our very spare office space. Call 845 878 4127 if you have problems with the pick-up time.
