A Trio of Friends - Classical Music Series Event

Clarinet, Cello and Piano Concert
This is the fourth event in the 2023 Classical Music Series. This concert brings 3 powerful and accomplished musicians. They will bring this to the music of Poulenc, Debussy and Brahms.

Francis Poulenc - Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano (1926)

Claude Debussy - Première Rhapsody for Clarinet and Piano (1909-1910)
Johannes Brahms - Trio for Clarinet, Cello and Piano (1891)
Mitch Kriegler attended the Manhattan School of Music and studied under Robert Renino, Conrad Kuchay, and Charles Russo.
Groups with whom he has worked include the New York City Ballet Orchestra, the New York City Opera, the Bronx Arts Ensemble, the Bronx Chamber Orchestra, the Leonia Chamber Musicians Society, the Linden Woodwind Quintet, the New Music Consort, the New York Pops, the Quiet City Chamber Ensemble, the Robert DeCormier Ensemble, and the Sutton Ensemble.
Rob La Rue is a graduate of the Curtis Institute, the New England Conservatory (with Distinction), and the Juilliard School. First Prize Winner of the National Society of Arts and Letters Cello Competition, selected by a jury chaired by Mstislav Rostropovitch. A former member of the New England String Quartet, he was also the cellist of the Lehner Trio. With these and other ensembles or as recitalist, he has appeared at Alice Tully, Merkin and Weill Halls. Internationally, he has been heard at the Evian Festival in France, at Canada's Banff Festival, on the Listasafns Sigurjons Olafssonar Concerts in Reykjavik, on the Frideriksdal Slotskonzerter series in Denmark, and in numerous concerts in Germany, the United Kingdom and Brazil.
Anastasia Dedik graduated from The Saint Petersburg Conservatory in 2004 and moved to the United States to continue her education at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and The Juilliard School on full talent scholarships. She has been the recipient of numerous national and international awards, including The Governor of Saint Petersburg Award for Achievements inArts, Harold and Helene Schonberg Piano Scholarship and Susan W. Rose Fellowship at The Juilliard School in NYC. Anastasia is a top prize winner of many International Piano Competitions, including “Bösendorfer and Yamaha USASU” International Piano Competition, San Jose International Piano Competition, Pietro Argento International Piano Competition. Anastasia is a founding member of the The Prima Trio.
