Pay Dirt - Putnam Theatre Alliance Project

With "Pay Dirt" as a working title, playwrights Vickie Ramirez, Kate Moira Ryan and Nan-Lynn Nelson are using the Hudson Valley history of enslaved miller Caesar, heiress Mary Philips (George Washington's first love?) and native American leader Daniel Nimham to tell a story of where land, freedom and love meet.

Performers: Christine Bokhour, Dylan Carusona. Aaron Gaines, Devin Gibbs, JoAnna Rhinehart. Robert G. Siverls, Danielle Soames, James Shearwood and Nancy Sigworth.

3 plays, 3 theatres, 3 nights. Following the premiere reading directed by Alice Jankell at AotL on Friday, the same plays will move to the Philipstown Depot Theatre on Saturday at 7:30 pm and to the Tompkins Corners Cultural Center at 2 pm on Sunday. See them at any or all.

The plan is that these three plays will be woven into a full-length work for presentation in the spring / fall 2023.
