The Get Outside Concert Series

We are starting out our Get Outside Series in June with Diane Scanlon  who is a Grammy Award winning producer and composer.

 

Diane Dwyer Scanlon is a Grammy Award winning producer and composer. Her songs have been sung by platinum-selling recording artist Eva Cassidy and Tramaine Hawkins as well as Darlene Love, Laura Branigan, Antigone Rising to name a few.Peermusic and Kobalt Music currently administers her extensive music catalog.

 

Diane creates music that moves with ease and confidence from sultry soul to folk-blues. She attracts listeners of all persuasions by combining melodic folk melodies with the emotional gut and fire of “blue-eyed soul. For her Arts on the Lake show she will be performing an unplugged version of songs from her albums as well as covers.

 

As a songwriter, Diane’s catalog moves comfortably through many genres. Her songs have been sung by Eva Cassidy, Laura Branigan, Tramaine Hawkins as well other hard working indie bands. Her work with Eva Cassidy’s CD “Songbird”, which climbed to #1 on Amazon’s folk chart earned her gold and platinum records, Tramaine’s single “Who’s Gonna Carry You” led the CD “Higher Ground” to a Grammy nomination. She also composed music for audio books with “Gashouse Productions” which led to a Grammy in 1998.

 

She has produced three CDs and her catalogs are with Peermusic and Kolbalt Music.

Tickets are needed for this concert and are available for purchase above or at the door.

These concerts are made possible, in part, because of our sponsors in the local business community. Please support those businesses that support bringing music to our community. This series of concerts in June, does require tickets but they can be purchased at the door.


Concerts start at 7 PM. You are welcome to bring your own chairs, food and drink to the concerts. Parking is limited so we suggest arriving at least 20 minutes before the concert.

 

We will be following all official Covid safety protocols in effect at the time of the concert.
