Our First Outdoor Concert This Year!

We are finally able to hold a concert in person! The Lake Trio will be performing as part of our Friends of Classical Music program on Sept 12th at 5 PM. The first of 3 upcoming outdoor events (Sept 12, 19 and 26) it will be held on the lawn in our Summer Stage areaTickets will be limited and members of the FCM program will have first choice of tickets.

The Lake Trio is comprised of these professional musicians: Sue Kurian-flute, Jill Jaffe-violin & viola, Maxine Neumann-cello, will perform Baroque Trio Sonatas by Telemann, Corelli, Bach, Vivaldi and to celebrate the 250th year of his birth, Ludwig van Beethoven.

Join us on the lawn as we once again enjoy music in person. This classical trio of flute, violin/viola and cello will perform on our Summer Concert lawn and while it may be a bit noisy it will be live and we will be celebrating hearing excellent music in person.

Advance tickets will be required and those who have become members of the Friends of Classical Program this season will have the first chance to reserve tickets.

No more than the allowed 50 persons in attendance will be enforced. We will establish 6 foot perimeters around specific seating areas to accommodate small family groups while maintaining social distancing.  Masks must be worn while not sitting in assigned area and we will do temperature checks upon entrance.  We ask your cooperation as we endure this new reality of music in person so that we can continue to have outdoor concerts into the early fall!

Along with these safety based changes we have decided to not serve and food or refreshments. However, you are welcome to bring your own food and drink and spread out within your assigned area.

This project is made possible, in part, through the Putnam Arts Council’s Arts Link Grant Program with public funds provided through the NY State Council on the Arts with support from Governor Andres M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
