A Comfortable Life
Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 8:00 pm
An even newer play by Pamela Weiler Grayson
The Hastings, a family of educated, New England intellectuals, had planned on a comfortable life, but now Lizzie at 31 has come home to live and David at 29 has never left. And Bill, whom Lizzie knew in high school, is a college-educated plumber earning more than any of them. A contemporary problem illuminated by laughter, now newly honed and sharpened following last year's revelatory reading.
Discussion with playwright Pamela Weiler Grayson following.
Directed by Alice Jankell.
With actors Steve Hauck (Tom), Ritamarie Kelly (Susan), Matt Mundy (David), Katie Lawson (Lizzie), Sam Gilroy (Bill) and James Shearwood (Jack).
