Carmel High School Jazz Band

Arts on the Lake is pleased to have the Carmel High School Jazz Band, performing in the Sunday Jazz Series. Under the direction of Mr. Peter Ballantoni, the players dedicate much of their after school time to rehearsals and performances.

They have generously appeared at a number of local venues, including playing for the residents of The Plaza at Clover Lake and the Fill Up the Truck Food Drive at Shop Rite plaza.

They perform annually for the CHS Mooney Memorial Pops Concert held at Carmel High School each fall, as well as the International Diner. In February, the group will be traveling along with CHS' Singers (Jazz Choir) to compete in the prestigious Berklee High School Jazz Festival & Competition in Boston, MA.

This event is part of Arts on the Lake’s commitment to support the arts and music programs within our schools. 

Proceeds from this event will go to help defray the costs of the Carmel High School Jazz Band's upcoming trip to the Berklee High School Jazz Festival.
