Performance by Daniel Burmester
As part of the Leo Burmester retrospective, Leo's son, Daniel Burmester (GUTworks Theatre) remounted "Rattlesnake in a Cooler", the play that propelled Leo's career forward in a landmark, Tony nominated performance in 1982.
"Rattlesnake" tells the story of a man finding the dark side of his dreams. Daniel Burmester, Jonathan Maloney and Kali Quinn, who make up the GUTWorks Theatre Company, based in Vermont, collaborate to bring Frank South's play to life for this occasion. Daniel Burmester portrays the young doctor in this one-man play that asks the audience if they have a dark side of their own.
