A part of a special 2 day event
Honoring Olivia de Havilland's 100 Birthday on July 1
In part to honor of Oliva de Havilland's upcoming 100th Birthday we will be showing the film Gone with the Wind on June 11 coupled with the reading of the comedy, Moonlight & Magnolias by Ron Hutchinson, on June 12th for a wonderful weekend of indulging in this Selznick classic.
This a special 2 day weekend event.
"Gone With the Wind boils down to a story about a spoiled Southern girl's hopeless love for a married man. Producer David O. Selznick managed to expand this concept, and Margaret Mitchell's best-selling novel, into nearly four hours' worth of screen time, on a then-astronomical 3.7-million-dollar budget, creating what would become one of the most beloved movies of all time."
Film will be shown Saturday June 11 from 4 - 6 PM with an intermission and the second half from 7 - 9 PM.
Refreshments and light snacks will be available at the concessions stand and the Popcorn is free.
Moonlight and Magnolias will be presented on Sunday, June 12, from 5 - 7 PM.
