Next Step Techniques for the Intermediate and Advanced Beginners

Special Workshop taught by Jim Beloff.

Here’s a chance to take your skills to a new level. A dozen or so well-known songs from various Jumpin’ Jim’s songbooks will be played while learning new chords, strums, a picking pattern, transposing on the fly, playing ukulele tablature and essential performance tips and techniques along the way. See uke there!

Jim Beloff:
Jim Beloff is the author of The Ukulele—A Visual History and arranger and publisher of the Jumpin’ Jim’s series of ukulele songbooks with over 600,000 copies sold. This series includes The Daily Ukulele, one of the biggest and best-selling songbooks ever published.

Jim is also an active songwriter. His 2 CD set, “Dreams I Left In Pockets,” features 33 songs he wrote or co-wrote with uke legends Herb “Ohta-san” Ohta and Lyle Ritz. Jim and his wife, Liz Maihock Beloff, own Flea Market Music, Inc., a company dedicated to the ukulele.
