A housewife discovers her husband has hired a hitman to kill her, sending her out the window and on an unusual series of misadventures.
Reckless premiered Off-Off-Broadway in 1983, was made into a film in 1995, and opened on Broadway in 2004.
With this reading staged by Ms. Judy Allen, the cast includes Elizabeth Breslin, Lora Lee Ecobelli, Ed Kenney, James Occhino, Peggity Price, Nancy Rothman, and James Shearwood.
Playwright Craig Lucas, who recently was nominated for a Tony award for his book to An American in Paris, will be in attendance.

About the Event
With a BA from Boston University, CRAIG LUCAS made his start as a performer in the Broadway musicals Shenandoah (1975), On the Twentieth Century (1978), and Sweeney Todd (1979). As a playwright, in addition to Reckless, he is known for God’s Heart (1997), The Dying Gaul (1998) and Prelude to a Kiss (1990). As the book writer for musicals, he is known for Marry Me a Little (1988), The Light in the Piazza (2005), and An American in Paris (2015), for which Mr. Lucas has just received a Tony nomination.
