Hike to Mt. Nimham Fire Tower Festival

In what should be peak fall foliage, we will use a variety of marked trails and old woods roads to arrive at the summit in time for the start of the Mt. Nimham Fire Tower Festival at 2 pm. Once the fire tower is reached, hikers are encouraged to join the festival, hike more, or when tired, take a van shuttle back to the starting point.
Children are welcome and encouraged, if they can keep up. Appropriate footwear, a trail snack and adequate water is needed.

Meeting Place: Mt. Nimham Field Headquarters Parking Lot on Gypsy Trail Road, 2 miles north from Route 301, on the right after passing the 4-H and County Parks.
