Friends of Classical Music Holiday Concert
Five virtuosic musicians who actively write and arrange contemporary classical and alternative-classical music.
The Brooklyn Brass Quintet has toured internationally, been the ensemble-in-residence at the Banff Center for the Arts and Le Domaine Forget summer festivals, has given master classes in the USA and Canada, and can be regularly heard at such NY venues as Greenwich House Music School, New York University and The Kitchen.
The members of the Brooklyn Brass Quintet are Mike Gurfield (trumpet), Matt Mead (trumpet), Matt Marks (horn), Sean Reed (trombone) and John Altieri (tuba).
This performance will take place in the Lodge at Tilly Foster Farm, 100 Route 312, Brewster, NY 10509.
The program will include baroque, romantic and holiday music.
