Arts on the Green

Annual Fall Fund-Raiser - Friday, October 1
at the Sedgewood Club, Kent Lakes, NY
We invite you to celebrate the success of Arts on the Lake with a Party at the Boathouse and a Day of Golf – two events that can be attended separately or together on Friday, October 1, 2010.
If you are a golfer, you know there is not a pleasanter golf course in Putnam County than Sedgewood – known for its views and ambience. If you attended or heard about our Fall Party last year, you know this is the fund-raiser that has the best entertainment, good food, warm friends - in short, a delightful party at the Sedgewood Club Boathouse on China Pond in Western Kent. The golf will begin before noon, the Party at 5 p.m.
For more information or to register for the events, please visit the Party at the Boathouse and/or Day of Golf events. Or contact Arts on the Lake at 845-228-2685 or benefit@artsonthelake.org. If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities, Party at the Boathouse admissions are given in appreciation to sponsors of this event.
Arts on the Green in the News
About the Event
In little over three years, Arts on the Lake, headquartered in the former Lake Carmel Firehouse on Route 52, has grown from an idea meeting in living rooms to a community-wide arts organization sponsoring classes, exhibits and performances of high caliber.
Like most successful not-for-profit arts organizations, income – even with a largely volunteer staff – does not equal expenses. Our spring and fall fund-raisers enable us to cover these operating expenses. We hope you will attend and give generously.
This year the Party at the Boathouse will honor in word and song Kent residents James and Wilma Baker. Their early support through PLAN Kent and recognition of the potential for the arts to bring a community together enabled Arts on the Lake to open its public doors in 2007. Join us to celebrate and to help continue the work started.
Golf and Party Committee:
Jeanne Buck, Peter and Marty Collins, Cynthia and Mike Gibbons, Arleen Larzelere, Ann Roffman, Gene and Lorraine Rosenquest, Mary Ann Smith and Roy Volpe
