Summer Concert Series: Arts on the Lake Jazz Ensemble

Coming soon to Arts on the Lake

Led by arranger, composer and trumpeter Tim Ouimette, the Ensemble consists of consummate jazz musicians who have played with: Harry James, Joe Cocker, Lou Rawls, Eubie Blake, Gregory Hines, Ray Charles, Blood Sweat and Tears, Bill Frisell, Count Basie, and Iggy Pop.

The Arts on the Lake Jazz Ensemble will be playing 2 sets of Music.

Set One: One Hundred Years of Jazz.
Performing a repertoire encapsulating the styles of the Great American Art Form from 1917 until three weeks ago — all in one set of music. Come and celebrate Jazz in all of its periods From Louis Armstrong through — and past— electric fusion.

Set Two: Rat Pack in the Woods
We will take you back to the 1950’s and 60’s and play a set of night club standards putting you front row center at the Copa featuring the fabulous vocals of Kati Mac and Joe Ferrara.

The concerts are outdoors on the north lawn at the Arts Center. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and you are welcome to bring food and beverages. Refreshments and some picnic food will be available for purchase.

 


In the event of rain, the concert will be held indoors at the Center.

 


The concerts for the Summer Series are all pay-what-you-wish events provided for our community.
