Sculpture across Cultures: Stone, Clay, and Paper

Ages 4-7
Children will create sculptures using basic materials. Activities will include creating stone Inuit inuksuit, Guatemalan worry dolls, and Japanese dragons and fans. Children will be encouraged to work at their own pace in this supportive and enjoyable setting.

About the Instructor
Mary Schreiber
Mary Schreiber holds an M.S. from Bank Street College of Education. She has led classes for both adults and children in collage, mask-making, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her art work incorporates various media, including sculpture, drawing and puppetry.
