For ages 8-13
Masks play an important part in cultures around the world. Children in this class will create Mexican festival masks, Commedia dell’arte masks, Japanese Noh theatre masks, and Inuit Yup’ik masks. The atmosphere at Arts on the Lake is always welcoming, and an emphasis is placed on having fun and stretching imaginations.

About the Instructor
Mary Schreiber
Mary Schreiber holds an M.S. from Bank Street College of Education. She has led classes for both adults and children in collage, mask-making, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her art work incorporates various media, including sculpture, drawing and puppetry.
