Basic Drawing and Composition

For children ready to move to more sophisticated aspects of drawing.
For children aged 9 - 15 years old.
This series is for children who are ready to move from “kid’s art” to more sophisticated and technical aspects of drawing. The children will experiment with shading, chiaroscuro, proportion, perspective, and composition.
Class will not meet Sept 26.
Pre-registration is required.
Class sizes are limited, children are registered on a “first come” basis.

About the Instructor
Mary Schreiber
Mary Schreiber holds an M.S. from Bank Street College of Education. She has led classes for both adults and children in collage, mask-making, drawing, painting, and sculpture. Her art work incorporates various media, including sculpture, drawing and puppetry.
